CAPALABA’s Bambini Early Childhood Development is celebrating a successful first year in operation, after the centre’s launch 12 months ago.
With centres already operating in Coombabah and Caboolture, the holistic early childcare provider acquired the Mt Cotton Road facility in early 2011 and after undergoing extensive internal and external renovations, the new-look centre opened its doors in late November.
Now one year on, the centre, which provides 75 childcare placements to the Capalaba region, is celebrating strong growth and high occupancy rates after building a positive reputation within the local community.
Owner and licensee Gabrielle Giufre said she looked forward to celebrating Bambini Capalaba’s first birthday with the families at the centre.
“Our aim was to introduce Capalaba to Bambini, implementing our signature points of difference in both environmental and learning experiences,” Mrs Giufre said.
“Our open-ended, self-initiated and age appropriate learning programs, literacy-based curriculum and immersive environment have been really well received by families in Capalaba.
“Over the past 12 months we have seen the children flourish not only in their learning, but also in their social, interactive and behavioural development,” she said.
Capalaba’s Bambini Early Childhood Development is a privately owned and managed long day care centre catering from children from 15 months to five years. For more information about Bambini Capalaba or to enrol, visit www.bambiniecd.com.au or contact centre director Jo Tutt on 3245 3055.
Our programs have been designed to acknowledge the intuitive and creative dimensions of childhood and in turn, nurture and inspire imagination by incorporating education with creativity and play.
“We have found the children really enjoy this different approach to learning and we have received positive feedback from our parents at the centre, who are happy because their children are happy.”
Advocates of Bambini, Phil and Anita Taylor, have been with the centre 12 months, enrolling their five-year-old son, Michael, and three-year-old daughter ,Stephanie, at Bambini in early December.
Mrs Taylor said they decided to enrol their two children a few weeks following the centre’s opening, after hearing positive reviews about Bambini’s approach to early childcare.
“We heard really great things about Bambini and when we visited the centre, we were really impressed with what we saw,” Mrs Taylor said.
“Bambini incorporates an extremely friendly and modern atmosphere with a nurturing environment, active learning programs and a passionate team of staff, who we just adore.
“The teachers are engaged, responsive and supportive to the children and possess a love for learning. It really is a very happy and peaceful place – which is an extremely positive environment for the kids to be both learning, developing and growing in on a day-to-day basis.
“We have found both Michael and Stephanie have responded positively to the centre since their enrolment. They have become more confident, their concentration span has improved and the teachers are really encouraging and inspiring them to learn.”
Bambini Capalaba consists of a stimulating outdoor playscape, which includes natural elements, vegetable and herb gardens, bird and chicken aviaries, forts and water play areas offering a multi-sensory experience for the children.
